Allora J. Couture 1942 - 2020 A resident of Young Harris, GA, Allora J. Couture (Vincent) was born and raised in Cameron, Louisiana. She passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 8th with her close family at her side. A Christian, entrepreneur, mother, and loving wife, she led a full life. She is survived by her husband Richard (Dick) Couture of Young Harris, Daughter Dr. Crystal Finnegan (James) of Wake Forest, NC, sister Mona Theriot (Daniel) of Lake Charles, LA, Brother Leo Albinson (Rachel) of Gibson, LA, sister Sondra Albinson of DeRidder, LA, granddaughter Ainsley Raine Condit and grandson Cameron Joseph Condit, both of Raleigh, NC. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her father Dallas Vincent, mother and stepfather Rita and Carl Albinson, sister Rhonda Albinson and brother Rondell Vincent, all residents of Louisiana. Allora moved to north Louisiana early in her twenties and founded a women's clothing store in Haughton, LA. Followed by a second store in Ruston, LA, where she used her entrepreneurial skills to make a 20-year success and business. She and her husband were married in Honolulu, HI in 1985 under the Banyan trees and orchids in the Foster Botanical Gardens. She semi-retired in 1987 and spent 5 years with her husband travelling the USA, Canada, and Mexico in their motorhome. They enjoyed whitewater rafting, hiking, and visiting all the National Parks. She then managed her daughter's dental practice in Raleigh, NC. She then settled in Sebring, Florida where she and her husband co-founded Couture's Art Gallery, Home D�cor and Frame shop which they operated for 20 years. Allora and Dick retired to the beautiful mountains in North Georgia in 2011 and enjoyed the many waterfalls, hiking trails, and Lake Chatuge. Allora served as Treasurer of her church in Louisiana for several years and most recently as Treasurer if the Blairsville Cruisers Car Clun for a short time until illness forced her to resign. She was active in the car club and one of the top fundraisers for the club's charitable programs. Allora is well known in her neighborhood for her beautiful gardens which she enjoyed working in at their mountain home. Private services for family only are pending. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to the Blairsville Cruisers Car Club for needy kids at Christmas.
