Ambria Rains

Mr. Ambria Aouston Rains, husband of the late Margie Robertson Rains, of Canton Georgia, passed away Wednesday December 19, 2018 at his home at the age of 89. A memorial service honoring his life will be announced by the family at a later date. Mr. Rains was born in Grove Oak, Alabama on August 1, 1929 to the late Furman and Vera Partridge Rains. He was an avid joke teller and prankster, and loved meeting new people. Aouston loved sharing the word of God from the Bible with those he met. He was a fan of Country and Bluegrass music and was a veteran of the United States Army. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his sister Mozelle Rains Dalton and his Brother Henry (Doe) Rains. He is survived by his daughters; LaRue Key and husband Keith, Cindy Cochran and husband Ronnie, sons; Randy Rains and wife Jackie, Steve Rains and wife Doreen; seven grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and five great grandsons.
