Amy Michelle Burkes

Mrs. Amy Michelle Burkes, of Warner Robbins, Georgia formerly of Acworth, Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Houston Medical Center after a brief illness. She was 46. A Celebration of Life service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Poole Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Baker officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until service time on Sunday. Following the service Amy wishes were to be cremated. Amy was born January 5, 1974 in Cartersville, Georgia to the late Jeff Lee and Brenda Gail Bradley Willis. Amy married Michael Leon Burkes in 2005. Survivors include her husband of 15 years, Michael Burkes, Warner Robbins, GA; one daughter, Brittany Kala Burkes Franklin (Jared); two sons, Michael Andrew "Andy Burkes" and Brandon Allen Burkes, both of Acworth, GA; two sisters, Tracy Willis, Rockmart, GA, and Jessie Dawn, Los Angeles, CA; three brothers, Bradley Willis, Joshua Wooten of Cartersville, GA, and Mikel Huber, Germany; three grandchildren, Brooklyn and Ava Burkes, both of Cartersville, GA. and Dylan Burke, Warner Robbins, GA.
