Ann C Nabors

February 26, 1949 — January 16, 2022

Ann Crocker Nabors passed peacefully on January 16, 2022 at her home in Acworth, Georgia.  Ann was born in Fairfield, Alabama, February 26, 1949.  She was a devoted Mother, Grana, Sister, Aunt and friend to all that knew and loved her.

Anyone who knew Ann, knew that she was a passionate fan of University of Alabama football.  She never missed a game.  She looked forward to each Saturday, when she would watch the game with her oldest grand-girl, Tori.   Family and friends knew to charge their phones on game day, as they knew play-by-play texts would roll in throughout the game.

In addition to her love of Alabama football Ann cherished her time with her family, especially her grand-girls, Tori, Stella and Scarlett.  She was an incredible Grana.  Some of her favorite places to vacation with her family were Dauphin Island, Alabama, Gatlinburg, Tennessee and the North Georgia Mountains.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents Fay and David Crocker.  She is survived by her son, Matthew, his wife Brandi; grandchildren: Victoria (her mother Noelle Nabors, Noelle’s son Kaleb), Stella and Scarlett; siblings: Dee (David) Parker, John (Maureen) Crocker, Lynne Beckham and Roni (Bentley) Sims; many, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and innumerable friends.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 29th at 1:00pm central time at Valhalla Cemetery, 839 Wilkes Rd, Birmingham, AL 35228.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to El Ayudante Nicaragua.  El Ayudante was dear to Ann, as Matthew’s family was involved with their international missions.  Donations can be made in her memory at: https://eanicaragua.com/give/.
