Rev. Aubrey Clarence Britt, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away at his residence Wednesday, March 7, 2018. He was 87. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2018 at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home Macon, Missouri with Rev. Scott Dalrymple officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Macon, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Macon, Missouri. Rev. Britt was born April 19, 1930 in College Mound, Missouri to the late Pink and Maggie B. Christy Britt. Rev. Britt served his country in the United States Air Force for 3 years during the Korean War Conflict. After serving his country he graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelor of Education in English and a Minor of History. He taught at Callao, Slater and Clopton High Schools. He also Graduated from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary with his Masters of Divinity. Rev. Britt served 43 years in the ministry and Pastored several churches including, Evanston Baptist in Illinois, Eolia Baptist Church, Chariton Baptist Church, Mount Salem Baptist Church, and Prairie Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Britt was also self-employed farming his family land for over 60 years. Rev. Britt was preceded in death by his parents, also six sisters, Frances Rector, Leona Sherman, Thelma Lake, Evalena Wyatt, Aretha Lee, and Ruby Wardell, also two brothers, Clifford Britt and Wayne Britt. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Marian Wyatt Britt, Woodstock, GA; two daughters, Deborah Roebuck (Robert), and Rebecca Warlick (Steve); one brother, Dr. George Britt; three grandchildren, Rachel Parker (Wesley), Joel May (Brooke), and Hillary Blackinton (Rich); great-grandchildren, Camden Cirami, Kendal Cirami, Jonah May, Hailey May, Natalie Parker, Grayson Parker, Estella Blackinton, Eme Mae Blackinton, and Buck Blackinton.
