Audray McCroskey

Audray McCroskey, September 12, 1931 - April 24, 2018 Audray Lucille Elena Bernadette Miller Hamele Heath McCroskey, 86, went to be with her Heavenly Father Tuesday, April 24, 2018. Mrs. McCroskey was born in Boston, MA. She graduated from Highland Park High School in Highland Park, IL. She lived in many parts of the country, including California and Illinois before settling in Georgia in 1966. She worked for many years at Crawford and Company in Sandy Springs before retiring. She was also an active member of Sandy Springs United Methodist Church. Her true love was bringing laughter and entertainment to as many people as possible through the theater, performing stand-up comedy, and in film. She directed and performed in many theatrical productions, was a member of the Dazzling Dames senior group, was a contestant in the Ms. Senior Georgia Pageant, and appeared in many commercials and movies. Even with all her accolades and accomplishments, she loved to talk about her children. She is survived by her brother Phil Miller; daughters, Leslie Avra and Kimberly Maddox; sons, Jamie Heath and B.J. McCroskey; 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Sandy Springs United Methodist Church, 86 Mt Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Senior Pastor Thomas Martin will officiate.
