Barbara Forest

Barbara Forest, of Decatur, Georgia passed away in her daughter's home in Canton, Georgia on November 18, 2017. She was 69. A Celebration of Life will be held at her son's home, 2627 Weigelia Road NE, Atlanta GA 30345 on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 1:30. Barbara was born in Bronx, New York to the late Isabel Brown and Victor Forest. She worked as a hospital administrator at Wyckoff Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and later as a real estate agent and real estate broker in Decatur, GA. Barbara was an avid sports fan and an amazing cook. She loved playing cards with her friends, traveling, and spending quality time with her friends and family. Barbara was a natural born leader. She always had a smile on her face and a positive outlook on life. Barbara is survived by her son, Jayson Janowski and daughter-in-law, Pricilla Janowski of Atlanta, GA; her daughter Jessica Jones and son-in-law, Paul Jones of Canton, GA; her son, Joshua Forest Hastings of Pensacola, FL; her grandsons Braiden, Landon, Austin, and Owen; her sister, Candace Forlenza of Lilburn, GA; her sister-in-law, Linda Forest of Lilburn, GA; her nieces Stacey, Tara, Wendy, Jodi, and Gwynne; her nephews Bret, Clay, Gregory, and Dane; and many great nieces, nephews, and friends who she would consider family.
