Mrs. Betty Cox, age 90, of Woodstock, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 20, 2024. She was born in Atlanta, GA. on April 20, 1933, to loving parents, the late Colly and Gertrude Litton. She dearly loved her family and was a devoted wife of 54-years to her husband “Ron.” She also was a mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She obtained her Real-Estate license in the late 70’s before going to work at AT&T, and then with Lucent Technologies until retirement. In her later years she enjoyed cross stich, working on puzzles and playing card games with her family as Gaither gospel music played in the background. She enjoyed country food at Johnboy’s in Marietta. She loved ice cream and homemade fudge. She was preceded in death by her sister, Maggie Ruth Litton, parents Colly and Gertrude Litton, half-brother Charles Litton, and sister Carolyn Echols. She is survived by her husband Orville “Ron,” sons Ranzall (Tammy) and Rick, sister Colleen Stieglitz, grandchildren Nicholas, Israel, and Mark, and nephews and nieces. We will miss her hugs, her laugh, and smile. Interment will be at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
