Bobby Clyde Dameron (Bob), age 81, of Vero Beach, Florida died Monday, August 14, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde & Lottie Dameron, grandparents Lula Mae & Charles Peter Dameron, sister Barbara Faye Dameron Herring, and brother-in-law Fred Anderson. He is survived by Gerald Brogdon and many friends & neighbors also of Vero Beach, Florida; and by his sisters, Joyce Dameron Anderson and Doris Dameron Meadows and husband, Don of Kennesaw. Bob is also survived by three nieces & their husbands & children: Deborah & David Casteel, Michele & Rev. Christopher Metcalf, and Kelly & Tony Stewart. Bobby grew up in Kennesaw where he attended the United Methodist Church; he attended Cobb County schools, and graduated from Sprayberry High School. After high school Bob served in the U. S. Army. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a Masters Degree in Industrial Management and was active in the business community of the Atlanta area. When he retired to Vero Beach he became quite active in community affairs. He enjoyed travel, collecting art and antiques. Bob had a unique gift for creating beautiful things which will be enjoyed by many of his friends & family.
