Charles Lindbyrd White

Mr. Charles Lindbyrd White, of Canton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 8th, 2020 at his residence after an extended illness. He was 87. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 10th, 2020 at Poole Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Matt Amos officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12 noon until service time at Poole Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Woodstock Church of Christ, India Missions 219 Rope Mill Road, Woodstock, GA 30188. Mr. White worked for 30 plus years as a Tool Maker with Lockheed in Marietta. He was a Christian and served many years at Woodstock Church of Christ. Mr. White coached baseball and enjoyed watching baseball. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, he enjoyed his grandchildren and loved being called Poppy. Survivors include his wife, Louise White, Canton, GA; two daughters, Jennifer White, Seattle, WA and Karen Sewell (Shannon), Henderson, TN; one son, David White (Teena), Henderson, TN; one brother, Larry White (Linda), Ballground, GA; eight grandchildren, Megann White, Caleb White, John Sewell, Abigail Frans, Michael Sewell, Kasey David, Andrew White, and Leeah White.
