Cheryl Klenzak

Mrs. Cheryl Lynn Klenzak, of Acworth, Georgia passed away at her residence following a brief illness. She was 70. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 at Bascomb United Methodist Church with the Revs. Ralph Devereaux and Shirley Edwards officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 2:00 until 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Service at Woodstock. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Bascomb United Methodist Women's Group 2295 Bascomb Carmel Rd, Woodstock, GA 30189. Mrs. Klenzak was born September 29, 1947 to the late Robert Joseph and Lucille Fern Hoffner Jones in Kankakee, IL. Cheryl was an active member of Bascomb United Methodist Church where she served as a Wednesday Morning Prayer Warrior Member. She also served as a Shepard at Bascomb UMC where 10-12 different families are covered with Birthday Wishes, Anniversary, and Prayer Request. She was UMW President for 6 years where she also taught adult Bible study for 10 years. Her Granddaughters were her Treasurers and Joy and when talking with them by phone or leaving she would tell them "You Know What, I See You in My Heart". Cheryl would always tell her friends "I Got Your Back" Survivors include her husband, John Klenzak, Acworth, GA; one son, Robert Leonard Klenzak (Paula), Clifton, IL: one daughter, Lisa Ann Klenzak, Dallas, GA; one sister, Cathy Hennessee (Gary), Mount Morris, IL; one brother, Gary Michael Jones (Pam), Burchwood, WI; two granddaughters, Kaitlyn Marie Klenzak, Bourbonnais, IL., April Lynn Klenzak, Clifton, IL; one niece, Kristine Jones; nephews, David Jones, Joshua Hennessee, and Jason Hennessee; she will be greatly missed by all.
