Dale Dean Rose, Sr., 89, passed away March 16, 2022 at his home in White, GA. He is survived by Mona, his wife of over 60 years. Also mourning Dale are his children and their spouses Dale Jr. and Beth Rose, Janine and Carl Nielsen; grandchildren Adam, Rose, Trey, and Annabelle. His children's in-laws Linda and Ralph Sneed and Patty and Dennis Nielsen were a significant part of Dale's life.
The son of the late Herschel Herbert Rose and Thelma Cora Grove, Dale came from a family of 16 children. He is survived by siblings Bobby, Ron and his favorite little sister Nancy.
A veteran of the US Navy, Dale served as a photographer in the Korean War. Following his service, he took a job with IBM as a computer repairman. Dale was a true Mr. Fix-it. He never met a piece of machinery he couldn't repair. Even when everyone else had given up. Even the experts. Especially the experts.
Dale was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
The visitation is Thursday, March 24th at noon at Poole Funeral Home in Woodstock, GA.
