Daniel Barrett

Mr. Daniel (Danny) Allen Barrett, of Ball Ground, GA passed away unexpectedly, Monday, November 26, 2018. A celebration of life will be held at a future date in Marietta, when we will join together to honor his love of family, life, and collectible cars. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Clements Episcopal Church, Canton; St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; or Kyle Petty Charity Ride, Inc. supporting Victory Junction for Children. Daniel was born June 14, 1952 to the late Haynes Barrett and late Ruby Cates Barrett, and his was preceded in death by his brother Ronnie Cates. Daniel was a member of St. Clements Episcopal Church. Daniel is survived by his spouse of 35 years Cynthia Smith Barrett of Ball Ground, GA. Survivors include his brother Jerry Cates of Marietta, GA; his Aunt Lucy Barrett of Ball Ground, GA; his daughter, Ivy M. Smith Buss (Bill) of Mars, PA; his son, Sterling R. Smith (Jamie) of Guyton, GA; 5 grandchildren, Megan, Michael, Madison Buss of Mars, PA and Grady & Gracie Smith of Guyton, GA; Freda, Wesley and the wonderful Barrett family.
