David Molyneaux

 

David Molyneaux, age 72 of Cumming, GA passed away on Saturday, July 29th 2023 in the comfort of the home he loved. He was born in Chicago on September, 11th 1950 to David Molyneaux Sr. And Elizabeth Peddycord. 

 

David served as an MP in the army in Vietnam stationed in Cambodia from 1971 to 1972.

He loved music, nature and reading. He enjoyed a lot of his time birdwatching, fishing, hiking, or curled up with a good book on his back porch, with his faithful Old English Sheepdog, Oliver at his side.

He lived for his daughters, Katie and Samantha; and took on many new interests in support of their endeavors.  

 

David is survived by his daughters, Katie Hanke and her husband, Max of Cumming, GA; and Samantha Molyneaux of Delavan, WI; His Sisters, Melanie Shannon and her husband, Sonny of Branson MO; and Leslie Bialasik and her husband, Larry of Lake Forest IL; as well as many beloved Nieces, Nephews, and dear Aunts. 

 

David is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Steve Molyneaux.

 

Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life picnic will be held in his honor on a yet to be determined date in Dawsonville, GA. 

 

He was a kind and gentle soul whom loved to help animals and other people. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to a charity of your choice.
