Donald Edward Borders

Donald Edward Borders, age 83, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away peacefully Friday, December 11, 2020 at The Oaks at Towne Lake assisted living. Don was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Noretta "Sue" Borders; his daughter Karen Bridges and husband Rusty of Memphis, Tennessee; son Mike Borders and wife Nellie of Woodstock, Georgia; three grandchildren Kristen Jordan and husband Chris and their children Ryan Bridges and Rylee Jordan of Post Falls, Idaho; Bryan Bridges and wife Lindsey of Memphis, Tennessee; and Brittany Bridges of Memphis, Tennessee; and Don's sister Lois (Ogle) Bingham and brothers Rex (Leslie) Borders, James (Karen) Borders and Bruce (Sandy) Borders. Don was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He met his wife Sue at Worthington Jefferson High School and they married in 1958. He served in the United States Air Force as an Airman Second Class. Don worked for Equifax/Choice Point for forty one years. After retirement in 2002, he loved to spend time fishing and woodworking. A grave side service will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests anyone who wishes to honor Don to make donations to The Michael J.
