Dorothy Dell Pequignot

Mrs. Dorothy "DOT"� Dell Pequignot 96 of Marietta departed this life Sunday May 23, 2021. Dot was born in Maplewood, Ohio to her parents Leo and Laura Leota Cisco Pequignot. Dot met the love of her life Arthur W. Pequignot and they were married July 18, 1942 in Port Jefferson, OH. Mrs. Pequignot worked for the Copeland Corporation for 20 years before returning to the family farm to help her husband, Dot loved to Bake, Cook, Quilting and gardening; Dot was a member of the Pemberton Methodist Church in Pemberton, Ohio. Mrs. Pequignot is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Leota Arthur, siblings, Isabelle Foster, Ed Arthur and Leo Arthur.Survivors include children Nancy Worthington of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Karen Pequignot of Woodstock, Ga. Grandchildren, Mark Worthington (Lieve) of Cheyenne, Wy. and Michael Worthington (Charity) of Great Falls, Montana, great grandchildren, Meghan Worthington Mayberry (Randi), Dustin Worthington of Fort Worth, TX and Cody Worthington (Savanna). Dots wishes were to be cremate and laid to rest beside her husband. There will be no services. Poole Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Woodstock is in charge of the arrangements.The family respectfully requests that all floral arrangements be omitted and that memorial contributions to an Animal Charity of your choosing in her honor.
