Dwane Thomas

Mr. Dwane Orlan Thomas, husband of over fifty years to Cheryl Trowbridge Thomas, of Woodstock Georgia, passed away Sunday March 17, 2018 at his home at the age of 70. A graveside service will be held Tuesday March 26, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Mr. Thomas was born in Kendallville, Indiana on March 25, 1948 to the late George E. and Dorothy Brown Thomas. He was a marathon runner who loved being outdoors in the sunshine. Dwane loved to garden and landscape, and often grew very large examples of certain crops. He was a family man who loved decorating for Christmas and making sure those less fortunate were able to have plenty of food at Christmas. Dwane was a veteran of the United States Army, having served honorably during the Vietnam War. Dwane is survived by his wife; Cheryl Thomas, daughter; Heather Pequignot and husband Bill, son; Matthew Thomas and wife Fran, brothers; David Thomas and wife Lois, his twin Dwight Thomas, grandsons; Alexander Pequignot, Eric Hurd and wife Becca, and great grandchildren Bernadette and Arlo Hurd.
