Mrs. Eithne Cook of Woodstock, GA passed away April 28, 2019 at Northside Cherokee Hospital following a brief illness. She was 78. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, May 6, 2019 at Poole Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 2-3 pm at the funeral home on Monday. Burial will follow in Georgia National Cemetery on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, at P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Mrs. Cook was born February 4, 1941 in Slough England to the late Sara Eithne Latimer. Mrs. Cook moved from England when she was 18 years old. She lived in Tucson Arizona for more than 25 years, prior to that she lived in Connecticut. Mrs. Cook was also a member of the Catalina Elks in Arizona for many years. Mrs. Cook was employed for many years as a Travel Agent in Connecticut. She enjoyed volunteering for the Golden Goose in Catalina as well as spending time with her Grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband John Thomas Cook as well as her brother Anthony Michael Latimer. Survivors include two daughters, Nikki Campanile (Bob), Woodstock, GA and Karen Cook Robles (Richard) Tuscon, Arizona; three sisters, Jennifer Rankin (Kerry), Helen Duncan (Gary), and Lorraine Taylor; five grandchildren, Michaela, Zachary, Ryan, J.T, and Matthew; several nieces and nephews; as well as great nieces and nephews.
