Obituary:  Gayle Denise Logan

Gayle Denise Logan, 71, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 5, 2023, in Canton, GA with her family at her side.  She was born on February 26, 1952, in Cleveland, Ohio to Patsy and Doris (Bowker) Aplis.  She resided in Long Valley, NJ, and Eastlake, OH before retiring to Canton, GA in 2021.  Gayle was married to the love of her life for 27 years, William P. Logan.

Gayle was a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She was the heart of her family, and dedicated hours of love and effort to her each and every one.  She had a passion for hummingbirds, and roses.  She kept the spirit of Christmas in her heart year-round and lived by the golden rule.  Gayle was a parishioner at The Body of Christ Community Church, Willoughby, Ohio, where she volunteered and participated in their Community Outreach Program and Bible Studies. 

Gayle is survived by her loving husband William P. Logan, sons Chad Ferguson, his wife Christine and Derek Ferguson, grandchildren Trévon Ferguson and Nasir Ferguson, her mother, Doris Bowker Aplis, Mentor, OH, brother Kevin Aplis (Patricia), Concord, OH, sisters Karen Mancini (John), Mentor, OH and Joell Furness (George), Eastlake, OH, all of whom she cherished. 

A Celebration of Gayle’s life will be held at a later date in Willoughby, OH.
