Gerald Ongeri

Mr. Gerald Mamanyi Ongeri, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away June 8, 2017 at his residence after a brief illness. He was 37. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2017 at Canton First United Methodist Church. A burial will take place at Rolling Hills Cemetery at a later date. Mr. Ongeri was born September 25, 1979 in Nairobi, Kenya to Stephen and Helen Nyanusi Ongeri. Gerald was also employed with BJ's Wholesale Club in Woodstock, GA. as General Manager. Survivors include his wife, Jocelyn Ongeri, Woodstock, GA; three sons, Hunter, Ian, and Jonah Ongeri, all of Woodstock, GA; his parents, Stephen and Helen Ongeri, Nairobi, Kenya; one brother, Eric Ongeri; three sisters, Frida, Asenath, and Damaris; brother-in-law, David Johannes; two nieces, Hannah and Valerie; two nephews, Zachary and Owen; Online condolences may be made to www.poolefuneralhome.net
