James Brian Burmeister

James Brian Burmeister was born to eternal life December 19, 2019, after a long battle with cancer. Services will be held January 4, 2020, at 10AM EST at Timothy Lutheran Church in Woodstock, GA. Jim was the eldest of two children and was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He worked for decades in the grocery business, transferring to a new a city every few years with the family. He accomplished many things throughout his life and was never wary of new adventures, as his wife and children can attest. Jim was generous to many people and organizations throughout his life. He was incredibly loyal, honest, and hardworking; first and foremost, he had a deep faith in Christ. He is survived by his wife, Sue; his four children, Jim (Julie) Burmeister, Bryan (Vanessa) Krohn, Michelle (Kim) Patton, and Brian Burmeister; and his nine grandchildren, Jena, Mason, James, Breanna, Zachary, Evan, Maycee, Megan, and Matthew.
