James Petee

Mr. James Floyd Petee, Sr. of Acworth, Georgia passed away at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. He was 74. A Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018 at Poole Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Stephen Ponichtera officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Following the services Mr. Petee wishes were to be cremated. Mr. Petee was born July 31, 1943 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Floyd Arthur and Helen VanHorn Petee. Mr. Petee worked for Sandoz Medical and other medical companies as a Salesman. Mr. Petee greatest accomplishment was winning the battle with alcohol he was sober for over 35 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Judith Petee, Acworth, GA; two sons, James Petee, Jr. (Donitia) Woodstock, GA. and Jeffrey Thomas Petee, Kenner, LA; two sisters, Pam Shapiro (Greg), Perrysburg, OH and Deborah Petee Patterson (James), CO; two grandchildren, Christian and Olivia; one niece, Adrienne Weidner; two nephews, Aaron and Adam Shapiro; Online condolences may be made at www.poolefuneralhome.net
