Jan Gelder

Mrs. Janelle "Jan" Ross Gelder, of Kennesaw, GA, passed away at Kennestone Hospital following a brief illness. She was 60. Visitation will be held from 12-1pm Saturday February 11, 2017 at Poole Funeral Home Chapel, with a Celebration of Life service immediately following with Rev Joseph Barta officiating. A light reception will follow the service. Mrs. Gelder was employed with Keller Williams Realty as a Real Estate Agent. Mrs. Gelder was preceded in death by her father Bob Coellner, and her father-in-law, Gerrit Gelder. Survivors include her husband, Gary Gelder, Kennesaw, GA; two sons, Austin Gelder (and wife Alisha), Kennesaw, GA; Drew Gelder (and wife Ashley), Pendleton, South Carolina; one daughter, Sarah Gelder Knowles (and husband David), Jersey City, New Jersey; two sisters, Laura Downes and Marcia Paulhus (and husband Tim); one brother, Denny Coellner (and wife Debbie); mother-in-law Grace Gelder, sister-in-law Cheryl Gelder Lawson (and husband Tom); five grandchildren, Lucas Gelder, Jackson Gelder, Holly Gelder, Lucy Gelder and Jacob Knowles; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
