Janet Marie Blocksom

On Saturday, April 24, 2021, Janet Marie Blocksom passed away at the age of 84 in Kennesaw, GA. She was born in Akron, Ohio, on May 11, 1936, to Geraldine and Cecil Dando. She was married for 56 years to Robert Byron Blocksom (deceased December 10, 2013). They raised two daughters (Deborah Sullivan and Karen Blocksom) and two sons (Kevin and Timothy Blocksom), and she was grandmother to 7. Janet was preceded in death by her mother and father, and her brother William Dando, and is survived by a sister, Pat Kapper, and a brother, Ron Dando. For 24 years, Janet and her husband owned and operated a business together, American Professional Credit, Inc. Always good with numbers and detail-oriented, she made a great bookkeeper for the business. A sensitive and caring mother and wife, she was always ready to lend a comforting ear.
