Jason F. Ratner

Mr. Jason F. Ratner, of Acworth, GA passed away Tuesday, April 7th, 2020 in Leesville, South Carolina. He was 45. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 18th, 2020 at Poole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Lamb officiating. Visitation will start at 10 a.m. Saturday before the service. With the Covid 19 epidemic still in place the family has asked that if you would like to attend the visitation please call the funeral home at 678-932-2097 and get on the schedule for the visitation. We will only allow 10 people at a time for the viewing, so we will have appointment times every hour until 3 p.m. on Saturday. Jason was born December 9th, 1974 in Hollywood, Florida to Mr. Paul Anthony Ratner and the late Mrs. Nancy Else Ratner. Jason was a member of Action Church in Canton, Georgia. He was the cutting room manager at the family business Pillow Perfect, Inc. in Woodstock, GA. Jason was a caring, generous man that loved dogs and old cars, particularly the 1967 Thunderbird he was in the process of gently bringing back to life in his garage. He was friends with many and a stranger to few. He will be missed by so many. We love you Jay. Survivors include his father, Mr. Paul A. Ratner, Woodstock, GA; his sister, Rebecca Hawk-Longberry, bother in law Nick Longberry, Woodstock, GA; niece, Jade Hawk; nephew, Scotty Hawk; his Grandmother Angela Ratner; three uncles, Mark and Lana Ratner, David and Barbara Ratner, Eric Ratner and Donna Burdette; cousins, Justin Ratner, Brad Ratner, Kara Ratner, Andria Williams, Steven Ratner, Jeremy Ratner, Ty Steele, Shawn Steele: his great aunt Irene Hufnagel; numerous loving second cousins; his wonderful dog Sasha and close friends Jennifer Peterman and Diane Greber.
