Jeffrey Burton

Mr. Jeffrey Clay Burton of Woodstock, GA. passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017 at his residence following an extended illness. He was 59. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 pm Monday, May 15, 2017 at Georgia National Cemetery with Chaplain Roland Nelson officiating. Army Military Honors for Mr. Burton will be rendered at the graveside. Mr. Burton was born October 7, 1957 in Augusta, Georgia to the late Burt Elonzo and Viola Patricia Hodges Burton. Mr. Burton served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne. Jeffrey later worked in the Equipment Financing business having worked for CIT and SunTrust Bank. Survivors include his wife, Kandy Burton, Woodstock, GA; five sons, Burt Anthony Burton, Savannah, GA, Nicholas Clay Burton, Woodstock, GA., Gabriel Alexander Wells, Acworth, GA., Zachary Willis Wells, Woodstock, GA., and Tyler James Wells, Acworth, GA; one brother, Steven Alton Burton Alpharetta, GA; sister-in-law, Kristine Lanoza (Michael); two nieces, Breanna Christy and Noelle Hathaway; 3 great nephews, Owen, Brice, and Austin Christy; Online condolence may be made at www.poolefuneralhome.net
