John Pomarico

Mr. John Michael Pomarico., husband of Dolores Azzato, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the age of 66. Funeral Services will be conducted by William Thrasher on Saturday July 28, 2018 at 2:00 PM in Poole Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Saturday July 28, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Poole Funeral Home. John was born February 26, 1952 in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Peter Pomarico and Helen DiGuiseppi. Mr. Pomarico started out as a plumber by trade and most recently worked as a contractor for O'Key Construction. He loved building and fixing things and it made him feel good when he completed his projects. He was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed spending his time as a retiree with his kids and grandkids. John was also a car enthusiast and loved to do restoration work. He also loved his dogs and rescued many over the years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Helen. In addition to his wife Dolores, John is survived by his daughters, Gina (Eric) Lawrence of Woodstock, Ga & Paige (Jay) Camp of Cartersville, Ga; sons, Steven (Lauren) Pomarico of Littleton, Co & Donavan Pomarico of Ellijay, Ga. John has 6 grandchildren-William, Ashleigh, Connor, Elliott, Eleanor, Meg and 1 great grandchild-Mercedes. Also by his brothers, Michael and Peter.
