John Wilroy

John "Jack" Douglas Wilroy, 83, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Wellstar Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain. Jack was born on March 30, 1934 to the late Arthur Jr. and Mary Farr Wilroy in Indian Head, Maryland. Mr. Wilroy was a self-employed auto mechanic, and served in the National Guard. He was a member of the 29th Division Association, and of Woodstock, GA American Legion Post #316. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 30, 2017 in the Poole Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Hall and brother Richard Wilroy. Jack is survived by his wife Joan, two daughters; Elizabeth Kappus and husband David, Johanna Moeller and husband Eric, son; Christopher Wilroy and wife Amy, sister; Jennifer Paquette, and grandchildren; Angela and Brian Kappus, Alison Moeller, Harrison and Margaret Wilroy, and a host of other family and friendshe will be greatly missed by all.
