Kendra Elise Lewis

Kendra Elise Brewbaker Lewis, 47, who lived in Woodstock, Ga. for over 20 years, passed away Monday, February 10th at Piedmont Hospital, Atlanta. She was born February 3, 1973 in Denver Colorado. She was the beloved daughter of David Brewbaker of Portland, Maine and Peggy Rustici Zalkind of Redding, Ct. Kendra was raised in Redding Ct. She graduated from Joel Barlow High School and continued her education at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Ga. After graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, she began her teaching career at Head Start in Greenwich, Ct. and continued teaching pre-school and Pre-K in Georgia. She was well loved by her students and made a difference in many students' lives. Kendra's main occupation, though, was raising her four children whom she loved with all her heart. Kendra is survived by her sons, Tyler, Kyle and Carter Lewis, her daughter, Kayleigh Patrick of Woodstock, Georgia, her brother Joseph Vinci, Jr. of Southbury Ct., and her stepbrother Matthew Zalkind of Fairfield, Ct. She will be sorely missed by her close relatives and extended family. A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until service time at the funeral home. A Celebration of Kendra's life will take place on Saturday, February 15th at 5:00 pm at Poole Funeral Home in Woodstock, Ga. We hope you can join us.
