Mrs. Linda Kay Lewis Hall, age 65, of Waleska, Georgia, peacefully passed away at 12:45 p.m. on July 13, at her home.Linda was born November 19, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Emma Jo Maynard Lewis and the late Jack Lewis. She attended Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, where she met her future husband of 43 years, Michael Hall.� She used to tell the story of the night they met, saying she took one look at him and knew right then and there that he was the man she would eventually marry.Linda is survived by her loving husband, Michael, who took care of her until the very end; two daughters, Katherine Hoffman and Rebecca Kaple; three grandchildren, Emily Hoffman, Alice Kaple and Camden Kaple; two sons-in-law, Peter Hoffman and Robert Kaple; and one niece, Laura Lewis.� She was preceded in death by her younger sister, Judy Lewis.Linda retired from Coca-Cola in Atlanta after 35 years.� She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, traveling and rescuing dogs.� Linda was smart and kind. She was a family-first type of person, and will be remembered most for her warm heart and selfless acts.� Heaven just gained another angel.Poole Funeral Home, in Woodstock, Georgia, has been entrusted with arrangements.� A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 20, at 11 a.m.Burial will follow in Evart, Michigan at a later date.As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society in her name.
