Marilyn Haney Vernon

Mrs. Marilyn Haney Vernon 58 of Cartersville departed this life Saturday February 11, 2023. Marilyn was born in Cartersville to her parents, Bobby and Jean Haney. Mrs. Vernon was a homemaker, she cherished her children and grandchildren, Marilyn was an avid animal lover, she loved going to the beach and spending time with her family. Marilyn will be missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Vernon is preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Jean Haney.

Survivors include her loving husband of 43 years; Randall Vernon, children; Jason Vernon (Rebecca) and Steven Vernon, brother; Darryl Haney (Elizabeth), grandchildren, Autumn Vernon, Izack Vernon, Joseph Vernon and Ivory Vernon as well a special niece Melissa Haney and other nieces and nephews also survive. Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Marilyn Vernon will be Friday February 17, 2023, at 2:00 PM from the David Street Church of God with Doug Vernon officiating Internment will follow in Cassville cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday February 16, 2023, from 4pm until 8pm at Poole Funeral Home.
