Mark Gilderbloom

Mark Edward Gilderbloom passed away September 8, 2018 in Woodstock, Georgia. He was born in Hollywood, California October 30, 1942. He lived in Sherman Oaks, California until he was 7. He then moved to Oskaloosa, Iowa where he graduated from High School. He attended Simpson College and graduated from North East Missouri State University. Mark loved to travel. He took solo trips around the world the year he turned 21. He worked as a Senior Customer Service Agent for Delta Airlines. He was a devoted father to his two daughters. Coaching their softball teams and driving the teams to basketball and soccer games. Mark was a loving husband who planned many trips for his wife and family. Mark and Sue were married 51 years. We are extremely grateful for the Loving Care given to him by Camellia Place and Homestead Hospice. Mark is survived by his wife Linda Sue Gilderbloom; his two daughters and sons-in-law Shanda and Ron Mitchell, Beth and Paul Piccirilli: and his sister Martha Gilderbloom Wall. A visitation will be held for him at Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Woodstock from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, September 23, 2018.
