Mark H. Hanger passed away suddenly on January 29, 2023. He was 73 years old.
He was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, and friend.
Mark Hamilton Hanger was born in Augusta, Georgia on December 12, 1949. Mark graduated high school in 1965.
He received an MA from the University of Georgia in History and a BA in Graphic Design. He moved to Denver, Colorado where he established a successful graphic design business, Graphein Design, and created the Denver Chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts.
After retiring from Graphic Design, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. He enjoyed watching his grandsons play baseball, remodeling his home, watching UGA football, cooking, and outdoor activities. He enjoyed Jimmy Buffett and wearing his flip-flops all year round.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Hanger, his sons, Matthew Hanger (Susan Ford) and Zachary Hanger, daughter, Abigayle Hanger, and 2 grandsons (Matthew), Kaleb and Coltan Hanger. In addition, he is survived by his mother, Virginia Hanger, his brother, David Hanger, his sisters, Virginia Maike, Julia Hanger and Katie Crafton.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 3rd at Bridgemill Terrace (pool house) at 3:30 pm.
