Mary Hammond

Mary Jane "Jayne" Hammond, n�e Wagner, passed away on May 27th, 2018 in Woodstock, Georgia at the age of 75. Jayne is survived by her mother Doris Wagner; her husband Jess Hammond; her children Sherri Lipscomb (Anthony), Jason Hammond (Kimberly), and Summer Silk (Randy); her grandchildren, Halle, Max, Charlie, and Reagan; and her brothers John and James. Jayne was born on October 18th, 1942 to Doris and James Wagner in Hartford City, Indiana. She graduated from Portland High School. Jayne married the love of her life, Jess Hammond, in 1965. She worked as a hairdresser in Indiana, and the family moved to Woodstock, Georgia in 1985 where she worked as a Customer Service Manager for Wal-Mart. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. A memorial service will be held at Poole Funeral Home at 11:00 am Thursday, May 31st, 2018. The family will have a reception following the service at the home of Randy & Summer Silk, 1601 Briarcliff Court Woodstock, Georgia 30189
