Mary Rowe

Mary Owenby Rowe, age 75, of Kennesaw GA passed away Sunday February 5, 2023, with her daughter and Life partner by her side. 

Born May 13, 1947, Mary was raised in Marietta GA and a graduate of Sprayberry High School, 1965. Growing up on the lake and water skiing, she loved the sun and boating. In 1997, Mary earned her Boat Captain License (25 ton) in Ft. Lauderdale FL, something she was very proud of.  In 2019, after working all her Life and the last 22 years at Dickinson Plumbing in Acworth GA, she retired. Her passions were taking care of her lawn and flower garden, as well as leaving nuts for all the critters who visited and kept her company, especially Alvin her Chipmunk. Trips to the beach and sunsets, even if that was watching it on a web cam, brought her so much joy. 

Mary was a Jill of all trades and Woman of Beauty and great strength. Her smile, laugh, playfulness, fun and witty sense of humor will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Along with her parents, Mary was proceeded in death by her sonMichael J Rowe, 2010. 

She is survived by her daughter Gale Melton of Woodstock GA, three grandchildren, Jordan (Carson), Kasey and Brian, three great grandchildren, McKayla, Abri and Denver.  Her partner in Life for over 25 years, Pat Looby of Acworth GA.

A celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
