Due to COVID-19, there will only be a short graveside service. The family completely understands if you are unable or prefer to not attend in order to exercise precaution. They welcome thoughtful letters or emails in your absence. The family requests that everyone attending the graveside service please wear face masks, refrain from hugging or other personal touch, and observe 6 feet social distancing recommendations. Max David Prisant was born on October 18, 1953 in Albany, GA. He was the son of the late Bennie and Mozelle Prisant. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting in 1975 and spent 40 years working various jobs at Allstate Insurance Company until he retired in 2013. In addition to a long career there, Allstate is where he met the love of his life, Joyce White Prisant. He married her on August 4, 1979 at Indian Creek Baptist Church. They had two beautiful children together. David was preceded in death by his father, Bennie, his mother, Mozelle and his brother Marty Prisant. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Joyce; his son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Kristy Prisant of Riverside, California; his daughter and son-in-law Katherine and Sean Cassidy of Lawrenceville; his sister Evanne Saunders of Albany; his brothers, Stephen Prisant of Snellville and Dr. Michael Prisant of Augusta; and six grandchildren.
