Michael Hunt

Mr. Michael Stephen Hunt Sr., 78, of San Antonio, Texas, departed this life Sunday, August 1, 2021. Mr. Hunt was born in San Antonio to his parents, Glenn Hale and Evelyn Lessing Hunt. Mr. Hunt graduated from Devine High School and Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked for the State of Texas in Wichita Falls and retired after 30 years of service. Mr. Hunt was an avid hunter, loved spending time with family, and attended St. Luke' Catholic Church in San Antonio daily. Mr. Hunt is preceded in death by his loving wife LaRoss Sheppard Hunt, parents Glenn and Evelyn Hunt, and a brother John Hunt. Survivors include children Lara Alvares (Aneel) and Michael Hunt Jr. (Tina), grandchildren Christian Hunt, Claire Alvares, Elise Alvares, and Rex Alvares, sister Martha Carter, and brothers, his identical twin David Hunt, and Bill Hunt. Mr. Hunt' wishes were to be cremated and buried beside his wife in Bluff Creek Cemetery in West Texas at a later date.
