Mr. Michael Stephen Brown, 68, of Woodstock, GA passed away comfortably on Monday, March 23, 2020, surrounded by family after a 5 month battle with brain cancer. Mr. Brown had several names he went by, Mr. B, Mr. Mike, and most affectionately as Pops. He was born in Miami, FL on Nov 29, 1951, to John "Jack" and Barbara Brown Roseman. Michael was an entrepreneur, owning a graphic design company whose most notable client was the Georgia DOT. Pops liked nothing more than meeting new people, spending time with family and finding a bbq or body of water to relax by - paradise or a little piece of heaven, as he would say. Pops loved to play softball with his buddies at Hobgood Park, followed by some pizza at the local Mellow Mushroom. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by both of his parents; stepfather Jack Roseman; sister Boni Brown; and brother James "Jim" Brown, all of Melbourne, FL. Mr. Brown is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Nancy Brown; sons Jason (Jessica) Brown of Woodstock, GA; Jesse Brown of Mesa, AZ; Justin and Jordan Brown, both of Woodstock, GA; Sister Barbara Brown of Melbourne, FL; Sister Teri Roseman of Los Angeles, CA; granddaughters Katelyn and Ansley Brown; and several beloved nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or gathering due to COVID-19 at this time. A memorial at the lake and beach will be held at a later date.
