Michael Shane Williams

Mr. Michael Shane Williams 53 of Acworth departed this life Tuesday March 7, 2023, at his residence. Shane was born in Marietta to his parents, Henry and Billie Ann Henderson, he was an avid Georgia Bulldogs’ fan, he also loved his Atlanta Braves. Mr. Williams was a Truck Driver for many years and drove for both Budweiser and Mayfield Dairy. Shane cherished his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He had many titles throughout his life son, friend, husband, father but his most cherished title was papa. Shane is preceded in death by his wife Leslie Young Williams.

 Survivors include his children Ashley Williams (Daniel Law), Brooke Williams (Corey Morrison) and Katie Jones (Mark Fredricks), Father, Henry Williams, grandchildren Brentley Gossett and Colby Williams. Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Michael Shane Williams will be Saturday March 11, 2023, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Poole Funeral Home with Brother Larry Baker officiating. Shane will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 12 until the service on Saturday. Poole Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Woodstock in charge of the arrangements. Honored to serve as pallbearers are, Woody Cheek, Scott Queen, Marc Thomas, Kevin Drummond, Joe Howell, Lamar Howell, Daniel Law, Corey Morrison, Mark Fredricks.
