Mrs. Pamela “Pam” W. Stephens of Woodstock, Georgia passed away early Sunday, January 7, 2024, at WellStar Tranquility Hospice following an extended illness. She was seventy-five.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 12, 2024, at Poole Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Shannon Salyer and Larry Perkins officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until 11:00 am at the funeral home on Friday. Flowers will be accepted.
Mrs. Stephens was born September 18, 1948, in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Felton and Betty Jo Haynes Waldrep. Mrs. Stephens was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta, Georgia for more than 30 years and the last 15 years at First Baptist Church Woodstock.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Stephens of Woodstock, Georgia; two daughters, Leigh Ann Buice Thompson (Todd) and Jamie McCrink (Jesse); one brother, Steve Waldrep; grandchildren, Lauren Buice, Michael Buice, Tyler McCrink, and Kaleb McCrink; niece, Emily Waldrep; nephews, Evan Waldrep, Wesley Butts, and Roger Butts; sister-in-law, Jane Butts (Steve).
Pam “Mimi” was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her favorite place to be was always with her family. She and her husband of almost 56 years were inseparable and shared a love of traveling and going to car shows together. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren. Pam’s giving spirit and radiant smile drew many people to her and as a result, she had many treasured special long-time friendships. Her sweet and kind soul will be missed by all who knew her.
