Pauline Pruitt Kerr was born on February 13, 1953 in Chicago, IL to the union of Bruce Pruitt and Carrie Thomas Pruitt. Pauline was 1 of 16 children born to this union. (Her father Bruce, as well as her brothers Bruce and John all preceded her in death). Pauline and her children moved to Upstate New York in 1985 where Pauline was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness. Pauline attended Fulton Montgomery Community College in Johnstown, NY and graduated with her Associates degree. She worked as a Youth Aide for the NYS Division of Youth where she retired from, but had previous careers in cosmetology, daycare and nursing assistance. Pauline was married to Michael Kerr and to their union 3 children were born: Terry, Tiffany and Michael. Pauline also had 2 additional sons Bouvier Woullard and Paul Woullard. She was an excellent cook and loved cooking for her family, friends and community. Pauline loved life, had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with her children & grandchildren. Pauline was struck with early onset dementia and battled with this ailment for over 10 years with her children and family by her side. Pauline was very brave in her battle and fought hard until her passing on November 25, 2016 in Marietta, Georgia with her children by her side. Her passing is greatly sorrowful for all who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, 12 sisters and 1 brother; 5 children: Terry (Lisa) Kerr, Tiffany (Michael) Logan, Michael (Vanessa) Kerr, Bouvier Woullard, Paul Woullard; 9 grandchildren: Aesia Palmer, Michael Logan, Kyle Palmer, Tyler Kerr, Lane Kerr, Emeni Kerr, Terran Logan, Janyssa Kerr, Micah Kerr and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A memorial will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 2PM at the home of Tiffany and Michael Logan: 1950 Oak Ridge Court, Marietta, GA 30062.
