Peggy Frances Gammill

Mrs. Peggy Frances Gammill, of Acworth, Georgia passed away Wednesday, August 25th, 2021, at Kennestone Hospital following a brief illness. She was 78. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, August 30th, 2021, at Poole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dave Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery with Poole Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held from 6-9 pm Sunday, August 29th, 2021, at Poole Funeral Home. Mrs. Gammill was born January 29th, 1943, in Ducktown, Tennessee to the late Irving Wesley and Phyllis Louise Maltz Allen. Mrs. Gammill was employed with the K-Mart Corporation for many years. Mrs. Gammill was preceded in death by her son, Marty Gammill in 2010 and her husband John Gammill in 2019, also a niece, Jill Clement Rich.Survivors include her two daughters, Lisa Marie Gammill Cory, and Karen Diane Gammill, both of Woodstock, GA; her son, Robert Gammill, Acworth, GA; one sister, Kathy Clement (John), Cartersville, GA; 9 grandchildren, Chris Evans (Nikki), Sammy Corey, Justin Bingham, Janice Corey, Dalton Farr, Stevanna Farr, Austin Gammill, Genesis Gammill, and Petra Gammill; four great grandchildren; one niece Pamela Ogle.Online condolences may be made at www.poolefuneralhome.net To view the livestream for Mrs. Peggy Gammill's service please click the link below.https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/7913525198
