Peter Apuzzo

Peter John Apuzzo of Woodstock, GA., passed away suddenly on January 12, 2018 at the age of 66. Peter was born August 27, 1951 in White Plains, NY and graduated from Roosevelt High School in Yonkers, NY and the University of Tennessee in Forestry. Since Peter loved the outdoors and nature it was natural for him to become a Master Arborist. He eventually moved from New York to Georgia and had a thriving business until his retirement. Peter was an avid golfer, hiker, camper; he loved all sports. Preceded in death by his father Salvatore Apuzzo of Yonkers, NY and his brother Alan Apuzzo of Bronxville, NY. Peter is survived by his mother Antoinette Apuzzo, Yonkers, NY; his brothers Roy Apuzzo (Donna) Las Vegas, NV, Martin Apuzzo (Phyllis) Bronxville, NY; two sons, Ryan and Jonathan Apuzzo, Woodstock, GA; Peter is also survived by numerous aunts, cousins, and a niece and a nephew. Services for a Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 am at Poole Funeral Home, 1970 Eagle Drive, Woodstock, GA 30189.
