Peter Kowalski

Mr. Peter "Pete" Anthony Kowalski of Acworth, Georgia passed away at Wellstar Kennestone on Friday, March 16, 2018. He was 46 years old. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 12 to 1PM at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Kennesaw. Funeral Mass will follow at 1PM with Father Neil Dhabliwala officiating. Burial will take place Wednesday March 21, 2018 at 10:30 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery with full military honors. Mr. Kowalski was born November 30, 1971 in Torrance, CA to David Anthony and Christine DaPra Kowalski. He was a retired Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force where he was a load master instructor. Mr. Kowalski served two tours in Afghanistan. Pete had a love for flying and was a great instructor to those in his charge. He was a NASCAR fan and loved watching Auburn football. He was an avid outdoorsman and "river rat". Pete was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Pascale Elkhouri Kowalski of Acworth, Ga and their son, Cody Kowalski of the home. Mother and Father, Christine and David Kowalski; one brother, Stephen Kowalski; three nephews: Sam, Brandon, and Randy Jr. Yousif.
