Riley James McFetridge

LCDR Riley James McFetridge, U.S. Navy (Ret.) of Canton, GA passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the age of 78. LCDR McFetridge was born July 7, 1942 in Orange, Texas to his parents George Washington and Roxie Ann Puckett McFetridge. LCDR McFetridge proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and Navy and retired with a combined service of over 31 years. Riley met the love of his life, Mary Andrea (Martin) McFetridge of Syracuse, NY. They wed on November 28, 1963 and recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary. Riley had the best sense of humor and loved making people laugh. He loved his family deeply and will be missed by all who knew him. LCDR McFetridge is preceded in death by his parents, George Washington and Roxie Ann Puckett McFetridge, sisters; George Ann Linscomb, Bobbie Ashworth, Billie Flanigan and Annie Doyle, brother-in-law; James Martin, sister-in-law; Therese Goins. Survivors include his wife, Mary and their children; Aimee Moore of Canton, GA, Riley J McFetridge, ll (Teresa) of Texas City, TX, Janet (Rob) Riley of Woodstock, GA, grandchildren; Tara (Bill) Bruce, Andrew (Katie) McFetridge, Vincent Riley, Curtis McFetridge, and Roxie Riley, brothers in law; Andrew Martin, Robert (Carolee) Martin, George (Pat) Martin, Jack (Nancy) Martin, sister-in-law; Annie (Dan) Bradshaw, as well as countless nieces and nephews.
