Robert Bain

Mr. Robert "Bob" Eugene Bain Jr. husband of Brenda Sue Bain, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 at Northside Cherokee Hospital at the age of 73. Funeral services for Mr. Bain will be 12:00 p.m., Thursday, March 15, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Allatoona Ward, with Bishop Hailstone presiding. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Poole Funeral Home. Bob was born June 28, 1944 in Shenandoah Iowa, to Robert Eugene Bain Sr. and the late Betta Long Bain. Mr. Bain was a retired Master Plumber having been employed by Bobo plumbing for over forty years. He loved fishing and working outside to maintain his yard. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching the Braves and Falcons. Bob was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Allatoona Ward. He was a veteran of the United States Army. In addition to his wife, Brenda Bain, he is survived by his daughters, Julie Bain and Jennifer Day; sons, Jeff Bain and his wife Sherry, and Justin Bain; brothers, Joe Bain and his wife Ann, and Mike Bain; granddaughters Bailee and Brooklin Day; as well as a host of other family and friends.
