Mr. Robert (Bobby) W. Kelley, 84, of Woodstock, graduated into his heavenly home, March 21, 2023 following a brief illness. Bobby was born August 28, 1938, in Atlanta, Georgia to his late parents, Henry W. Kelley and Alline Blanton Kelley. He was the first of four boys preceded in death by Jimmy Kelley.
Bobby graduated from Chamblee High School. He was eager to start his life in-service and started working at a young age. He proudly retired from the Gulf Oil Corporation, as a district manager after a successful 30 year career.
Bobby was a devoted husband and adored his wife, Aletha Yancey Kelley. He loved his children, especially his grand children. He supported extracurricular activities and always tried to bring joy and a smile to those around him. He enjoyed sports, especially Georgia bulldogs, (Go dawgs!), cars, fishing, camping, and vacations to the beach & mountains. He held a special place in his heart for his animals.
Bobby’s friendships were very special and friends will tell you he never turned down a chance to help a friend or a neighbor build or repair something. You could catch him having fun at Bluegrass music festival or at class in Ron Crawford's Bible study.
