Robert Lamb

Mr. Robert J. Lamb III of Woodstock, Georgia passed away early Wednesday morning August 8, 2018 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice after an extended illness. He was 77. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Hopewell Baptist Church with Revs. Norman Hunt and Ted Miller officiating. Mr. Lamb was born February 3, 1941 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Robert Judson Jr. and Edgar Virginia Phillips Lamb. Mr. Lamb graduated Jacksonville University with his Bachelors in 1963 and his Juris Doctorate from Emory University in 1969. He was admitted to the Georgia & Florida Bar in 1970. He had 22 plus years as a Closing Attorney, title examiner, real estate broker, and an expert witness in issues involving land disputes and title issues. Mr. Lamb was Associate Counsel at Cobb Federal Savings & Loan Associates, Lamb & Blackburn, US Veterans Administration, Loan Guaranty Attorney, Johnson Controls, In house Counsel and Contracts Administrator. He was also a Real Estate Broker in Georgia, Tennessee, and California. Mr. Lamb was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all. Mr. Lamb was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, George Lamb.
