Robin Smith

Robin Smith, 78, of Morristown, Tenn passed away peacefully on September 29, 2022 at the Brickmont of Woodstock, Georgia. Robin grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and graduated from Roland Park Country School. She attended Whittenburg University, Towson State, and earned a master’s degree in education from Purdue University.

Robin was an extraordinary teacher and loved working with and teaching children of all levels and backgrounds. While overseas serving as a military spouse, Robin helped the department of defense school system by assistance across high school classes. Her service to the military community over the years was recognized by the highest civilian award. Upon arriving in Morristown, she tough at All Saints Episcopal School.

As a member of the Morristown community, Robin was a realtor with Remax, achieving the honor of best realtor in 2010. She also server the body of Good Shepard Lutheran Church for many years, even holding the position of church president.

Robin was preceded by her parents Robert and Dorothy Carter, and her daughter Lindsey Smith. She is survived by her brother’s Minor Carter and John Carter, Son David (Tiffany) Smith, and grandchildren Ryker Smith and Vivien Smith.     

A celebration of life service will be held at The Good Shephard Lutheran Church of Morristown, Tenn on Wednesday, October 5^th at 1:00 PM.
