Rosa María Alanis falleció en paz en su hogar rodeada de familiares y seres queridos el 24 de Octubre de 2024 en Acworth, Georgia. Nació el 29 de junio de 1940 en González, Tamaulipas, México. Rosa María Alanis se crió junto a sus hermanos Yolanda y su difunto hermano Antonio. Fue una querida maestra, directora y administradora de distrito en México durante 30 años. Le encantaba comer, leer y su jardín que su difunto esposo de 49 años, Agustín Alanis, había cultivado para ella. Juntos, hicieron crecer su familia en Tamaulipas, México, donde criaron a sus 5 hijas y luego se mudaron a Georgia en 1987.
Le precedieron en la muerte su padre Constantino Gonzales-Castillo, su madre Rafaela Salas-Gonzales, su esposo Agustín Alanis y su hermano Antonio González-Salas. Le sobreviven su hermana Yolanda Ma. Aguilar-Salas; sus hijas Gisela Alanis-Segovia, Rosa M. Alanis, Caridad Betancourt y su esposo Armando Betancourt, Nicte Alanis, Perla Alanis; sus nietos Agustín Alanis, Vannesa Jasso, Chelsea García, Andrew Alanis y su esposa Noizuly Alanis, Justin Jasso y su esposo Jay Jarrett, Armando A. Betancourt, Daphne Segovia, Karime Betancourt, Haley Pineda y su esposo Luis Pineda, Rodolfo A. Betancourt, Ethan Herrera; y sus bisnietos Azelia Pineda y Andrea Alanis. También le sobreviven su familia extendida en Texas, Georgia y México.
El funeral se llevará a cabo el Sábado 26 de Octubre de 11 a. m. a 8 p. m. con una visita privada para la familia inmediata de 11 a. m. a 12 p. m. en Poole Funeral Home; 1970 Eagle Dr, Woodstock, GA 30189.
El entierro se llevará a cabo el Domingo 27 de Octubre a las 10:30 a. m. comenzando en Poole Funeral Home y terminando en Rolling Hills Cemetery; 4355 Hwy 92, Acworth, GA 30102.
La familia solicita que se vista de blanco y negro en el funeral y de tonos rosados en el entierro de acuerdo con sus deseos.
Rosa Maria Alanis died peacefully at her home surrounded by family and loved ones on October 24, 2024 in Acworth, Georgia. Born on June 29, 1940 in Gonzalez, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Rosa Maria Alanis was raised alongside her siblings Yolanda and her late brother Antonio. She was a beloved teacher, principal, and district administrator in Mexico for 30 years. She loved eating, reading, and her garden that her late husband of 49 years, Agustin Alanis, had grown for her. Together, they grew their family in Tamaulipas, Mexico where they raised their 5 daughters, and later moved to Georgia in 1987.
She is preceded in death by her father Constantino Gonzales-Castillo, her mother Rafaela Salas-Gonzales, by her husband Agustin Alanis, and by her brother Antonio Gonzalez-Salas. She is survived by her sister Yolanda Ma. Aguilar-Salas; by her daughters Gisela Alanis-Segovia, Rosa M. Alanis, Caridad Betancourt and her husband Armando Betancourt, Nicte Alanis, Perla Alanis; by her grandchildren Agustin Alanis, Vannesa Jasso, Chelsea Garcia, Andrew Alanis and his wife Noizuly Alanis, Justin Jasso and his spouse Jay Jarrett, Armando A. Betancourt, Daphne Segovia, Karime Betancourt, Haley Pineda and her husband Luis Pineda, Rodolfo A. Betancourt, Ethan Herrera; and her great-grand children Azelia Pineda and Andrea Alanis. She is also survived by her extended family in Texas, Georgia, and Mexico.
The funeral will be held Saturday October 26th from 11a.m. to 8 p.m. with a private visitation for immediate family from 11a.m. to 12p.m. at Poole Funeral Home; 1970 Eagle Dr, Woodstock, GA 30189.
The burial will be held on Sunday October 27th at 10:30 am beginning at Poole Funeral Home ending at Rolling Hills Cemetery; 4355 Hwy 92, Acworth, GA 30102.
The family asks that you wear black and white at the funeral and shades of pink at the burial in accordance with her wishes.
